The five from the top saying I created was a way for me to hopefully succinctly describe my standing in the family of thirteen kids. Having a big family has helped me through many  job interviews particularly when I was a kid. I got it from the radio announcers who would preface a song by advising where it stood on the top ten list of popular songs.

 

Dad would drive us around to Mass and donuts afterwards particularly in Lent and on Sundays and also to our activities with lots of kids in the car and sing with us and toot the horn to songs. One that particularly stands out is the “Ballad of the Green Beret” but that was driving around Schenectady as I recall so it was later on.
